I've read the many posts about how great customer service is at Kershaw. Never thought I'd have reason to test it until the AO spring in my 3 yr old Leek went Ka-put. It was my EDC. Used but not abused. I was going to order the replacement spring and install it my self but couldn't "break" the seal on the pivot pin even trying the tips posted on this forum. I sent it in to Kershaw detailing the problem. Today (two weeks later) I received a brand new in the box Leek as a replacement. I am blown away!!! All I asked was just a repair and they replaced the knife!! I'm sold. The SOG twitch went in the drawer and the new Leek went back in my pocket. All is well.

Yup...Kershaw's customer SERVICE is second to none...

BTW...Did you know that there is a Kershaw Forum here at BladeForums? Stop by sometime and say "hi".:).

Bent twig,
A co-worker had a similar experience with his Kershaw, not sure of the model he carries. He was extremely happy with the service at Kershaw:thumbup: They do good work it seems.

Kershaw really has a lot going for it. Something for every level knife user from light duty to all out steel junky knife knut that likes exotic super steels like ZDP and SG2. A talented stable of top designers make something for everybody. They have also been shocasing new and exciting technologies such as the new Tyrade, amongst others. Spend some time reading threads in the Kershaw forum to catch up. Joe

I stopped by the Kershaw booth at the Blade Show to see about the same problem. I was told to get the warranty information that came with the Leek and send it in to that address. I had the knife with me at the time. This was after my brother carried a Chris Reeve knife with a worn out blade to their booth and they took it and said that they would replace the blade and get it back to him. They did. My leek with the broken spring is still in the drawer at the house. But I do have another in my pocket.

Let’s see if we can find the right forum …

Kershaw did exactly the same for me with my broken blade tip Blackout. I even told them it was my fault and asked how much $ to fix it. They sent a NEW one back, it took only 4 days !! No charge. :D:D All my future knife purchases will now be Kershaw !
