Kershaw OD-1 Passaround

ruetar, please call me today at the factory if possible, 1-800-325-2891. Ask to have Thomas paged. Thanks.

Here it is:

I've only had it for a few hours but I really like it. The belt clip is sturdy and reversible, the blade locks well, and there is no noticeable wiggle. My only complaint is that the thumb-cam lever might get snagged on something.

I really like the shape -- very classy. Excellent knife that opens as quickly as their spring loaded assisted openers.

I have a couple of leeks if anyone wants side-by-side comparisons. I'll be able to upload them tomorrow.

I'd love to see some comparison pics with a Leek. I really like the looks of this one.

Sheesh. I hope not. If anyone gets in trouble, it'll be for trying to please a customer. I'll be willing to do whatever they need me to do to make things right.

Please don't take my comment seriously...I have no idea why Thomas wants to talk to you. :)

yeah, i wouldnt worry about it ruertar. although i have no idea why TW would want you to call him either. let us know what happens!

I checked out the OD-1 at the show and it is very close in size and overal feel of the Leek. I like the blade profile of the OD-1 a little better even though they are pretty close.

The overdrive flipper is amazing, it is so quick that I could have sworn it was an assisted opener. The G10 is nice and grippy, the frame lock is thick for the size of the knife, and it has the lock stop like a hinderer. I think it may make a great office carry also as it is very slim, narrow and a under 3" blade. It really is a great knife.

ohh i didnt know it was a framelock... how does the cam thing work?

i think i need one of these...
