The Kershaw OD-2 is due out next month. Does any one know whether this is going to be another Walmart only model, or will it be generally available?

Looks like a neat little knife, but somewhat downgraded from the OD-1: glass filled nylon slabs instead of G10, 8CR14 steel instead of the new Sandvik, no clip, and a safety:thumbdn:. We'll have to see what the price will be. My guess is half that of the OD-1.

Its about the size of a Kerehaw chive if I remember right. It's a step down because its Chinese made to make it more affordable, just like the Tenacious.
Price, I'm guessing about $25 online, I don't think it will be at walmart though like the Od-1, but I'm not sure.

When I first read about the OD-2 I was hoping that it would be a larger version of the OD-1 not a smaller. How cool would a 3.5 inch or 4 inch knife with the over drive flipper be?

Item #1770. MSRP is $29.95
Street of $17-20

8CR13MOV
410 SS liners
2-1/4" blade
3-1/8" closed (exactly 1" shorter than the OD-1)

When I read the title I got somewhat excited, but seeing as it is a step down, I am not so excited anymore. I was hoping for some more blade, and made in the US of A
