Kershaw Offset, Bump, Boa, Cyclone & more

Have a look. Buy a nice knife. Give it to someone you Love. Have a very, merry Christmas!

What exactly is a factory second. I am interested in the Offset but I don't know what a factory second is. Does it have a warranty?

That's a good question. In most cases a "second" is a product that does not quite meet all the requirements for a finished, production piece, i.e. a coat with a missing button, a pair of shoes with a slightly malformed sole or a knife with a minor "flaw" that may not be detectable. The product is still usable, functional, has a good appearance, but is not "perfect". In Kershaws case, they mark such knives with four X's on the blade to indicate such. The thing is, these "flaws" are many times undetectable to the common user. Only the manufacturer may know why it was marked as a "second". And with Kershaw some knives that are "firsts" when sent out with sales reps as demonstrators may come back to the shop and be sold as "seconds" because they're no longer new.
According to Thomas W. at Kershaw (National sales mgr) warranty is not applied to "seconds". But, I personally know a dealer who has returned seconds with no problem. I'd say it's between you and Kershaw. I've never had a reason to return any of their knives, "seconds" or no.
