Kershaw Offset update/upgrade

I think the Offset is a very interesting knife, but have never really liked metal handles and especially don't like the current "splash" ano/paint job it has. Is there any chance of an updated version with a machined G10 handle like the first Spec Bump had? (Thomas W?) Would anyone else like to see this or something similar?

I have this knife and love it's handle . .although at first I was concerned. .until I opened the box. It is nice in person, and the paint makes each one unique . .although I wouldn't mind something different as well . .something tells me a red splash would get me going . .but g10 is good too.

trout #2, good views on your part for sure.

A few quick thoughts:

Each Offset is individually serial numbered to 1000 (001/1000, 002/1000....), and we have yet to produce those first 1000 pieces. The mold for the Offset blade does have some mileage left in it, and we have had serious talks on the details of the 2nd generation Offset.
In an effort to get reaction from the ELU, we will be bringing a 3-D machined G-10 version to the Blade show. We have also discussed changing up the steel on the next version, again to try and separate it from the original Offset.

I think we are a ways out (late 06/early 07) with delivery on a G-10 Offset, as we need to get through the aluminum version first, but I feel there will be one available down the road.
 
Thomas, How about a jigged Titanium handle resembling the Spec Bump for the next gen.? G-10 has been done to death ... ;)
