Outcast is good but for the money I would get a BK-9...

Good point. Though I like my BK2 best so far, bad thing is once you get one Becker you just have to get them all. Each and everyone as good or better than most knives costing as much as eight times more

I have a Recon 1 and its a good solid folder. No experience with the Outcast but Im sure its a fine woods blade.

I really like my Kershaw OutCast but for the same money I would get two Beckers.

I've never seen 2 Beckers for $60.

Thanks everyone but i ended up going wiht the RTAK-2 It has the chopping capability but also is not as heavy and the 1095 steel was also a plus. Thanks again

Good choice. I almost bought the Outcast myself until I learned of the shortcomings of D2 when used in a chopper.
