Kershaw People Look Here

Esav,

I voted for your raise during salary review. Just wanted you to know...:)

Looks like it could be a patent violation, of a patent that has been pending for several years and recently granted (ETA: also a design patent granted two years ago). I'm guessing Kai is the entity responsible for pursuing action. Though it may be pointless, as the offenders are far away in China, and the ET seems to be discontinued anyway.

not spam for me, it's a lonk OK but how else do you show/ask for help?
he probably wanted to show he found a ripoff and wanted to let us know it or wanted to know more

Another vote for not spam, think he was giving Kershaw a heads up to someone ripping off their designs...give him a chance.

Not sure if here is the place to post stuff like this, but anyway, if there is anyone from kershaw here you might want to check out my link:

If the OP said "this link" instead of "my link," I think we would all see it as an alert to Kershaw, rather than potential spamming. It may be a nuance of translation to English.

Curious, I wonder what the "patented claim number" leads to. I couldn't find anything via google.

Why does it matter if the knife is discontinued?

The patent is still valid. It doesn't matter legally. But it may not be worthwhile defending a patent of a product that brings in no revenue, if the cost of the lawsuit is more than what is expected to recoup. Even moreso when you consider the offenders are like whack-a-mole operations in China.
