Kershaw Piston........Who's with me?

I hope Kershaw starts producing composite bladed versions of the Piston, Knockout, and/or Echelon. If anyone is wondering, Thomas did say it is possible.

If you order 600-700 units, Thomas will tell you almost anything is possible. :p

Who knows......if a ton of these sell then the possibility of different versions only get better. Buy two instead of one?

No Liner?

Nope. The lock is an insert liner lock

<snipped from the Kershaw website>

To build an Inset Liner Lock, Kershaw insets a strip of steel inside a knife’s handle—most commonly when the handle is G-10. Insetting the lock in this way enables us to create a slimmer knife, while still providing the strength and security of a locking liner.

How about adding thumb studs, manual opening version, and a satin finish to the Piston? Just wishful thinking on my part :o

Loved the knife when I handled it at Blade. The 3 upcoming models in this family (Echelon, Piston and Knockout) are all winners and handle unlike anyother Kershaw (or really, production knife) that I have spent much time with. This family of blades are going to be real winners -AND- if you guys don't like them..... it's all on you as far as I can tell ;) Kershaw has addressed just about every gripe any one has had with their product.... The knives are light, fast, thin, ergonomic, comfortable, have deep carry multi position clips, new blade finishes are a real possibility (the machine finished hollows and flats on the protos are beautiful).......... IMO, KAI USA has listened to you and they are just about perfect..... seriously, I think the only way they could get any better is if they were free.... but, they are one smoking deal at the price points.

Alright man, as if I don't want one bad enough already!

KershawKnivesMike managed to snag one for a few moments: (From the facebook posting)

I definitely want one of these. There is nothing about this knife that I don't like so far. It looks like something that will get lots of use.

That video was great.....really looks good and the price will be right on the money.
