Kershaw. Please make a KVT balisong.

If you follow many of the threads on the 62 those who prefer the steel knives are not the flippers for the most part. And if they are they are from the older generation. It really just comes down to which camp is doing the talking. But if you look closely the younger flippers seem to not want anything to do with the 62.

I prefer steel over titanium. It's cheaper to buy, gives more heft, and is more scratch resistant than Ti. I'm a flipper. My favorite knives are the 8oz 29 balisongs. I represent the minority though thats for sure.

Bumping this for more discussion.

If not a Kershaw-branded balisong per se, is there any hope for a new Bradley design that isn't just a blade or handle-milling swap? I'm not worried about top of the line materials by any stretch. In fact, what makes the current Bradley offerings so great is that, according to the balisong community, they're undeniably well-built, rugged, and most can be had for right around a hundred bucks (just like in the good ol' days!). I feel like if, given the chance, Kershaw could bring out a great flipper and EDC for near the same price as the Kimura series, but maybe this go-round it'd be a bit lighter and more geared toward flipping in general.

I wonder how exactly the process goes when Bradley decides to request/design/introduce a new balisong and how much, if any, influence Kershaw has on it?
