Kershaw Pocket Clips

My Skylines clip keeps coming loose, but not loose enough to loose grip, just slide around. I'd preferred three screws to triangulate the mount. Its also tighter than a snare drum on the G10 making it nearly impossible to clip on my pocket. I had to take it off and bend it.

I have a Composite JYDII in the mail and I cant help but think its going to see the bench grinder for a diet. But I'll have to wait and see.

What is wrong with 'Meese'? If more than one goose are geese, why shouldn't more than one moose be 'Meese'? :p
 
Besides my Random Task, and my Leeks, all of my clips have been modded to some extent. All of my Kershaws are users, so the clips have to allow my knives to be easily deployable. IMHO some of the clips offered don't allow this, so I mod them 'til they do. Someone brought up the JYD II, and I agree. One of my favorite knives, but the clip didn't work for me, so I modded it, and was benefitted two ways; it was easier to pocket, and unpocket, plus it drew less attention. Now it's hard to rotate it out as an EDC, whereas before I modded the clip, my JYD II rarely saw any pocket time at all.

Like they say, "To each his own." As long as it's Kershaw, it's all good!

Too bad. If you look at the Needs Work's clip it is turned up on an angle little bit, if you tilt your knife a little bit to the angle on the clip
(about 20 degrees) it will slip in to your pocket with no problem at all.
I had the same problem until I looked at the clip, wondering why it was so hard to slip into my pocekt.
Ok, you can go buy another one now.
Its really a solid little knife. It's lives for cutting up cardboard and other extended cutting chores.

Throw a composite blade on it and you've got an outstanding utility and edc knife. :D ....... you guys up there in Tualatin listining ?
 
I don't like flashy clips,but it doesn't stop me from buying a knife because of it.I have JYD 2 and the the offset I had to paint the clips black to be more discreet.If the paint cratches off I just sand it down and paint again.The offset has the flashiest clip I've ever seen:(:jerkit:
 
what shiny clip do you have?

the leek and the blur shares the same clip, i have 2 of them in black, can i trade ya for the shiny one?
