I am pretty sure that I need one of these 1670 tanto Blurs. Gotta visit the factory this weekend.

No. NO. NO! Go back to the beginning, start over, and post something more appropriate, like, "I'm going to the Kershaw factory this weekend because I need two purple tanto Blurs. Maybe three. Or eight or ten. Maybe rent a U-Haul and buy 'em all."

And keep writing that over & over until you're drooling & misty-eyed & incoherent.

Then your post will sound correct.

That is how it starts. You think you can stop with one Blur and then before you know it you are up all night refreshing knife forum classifieds chasing that one last rare Blur you need... and then you find it... but then there is another.. and another. And soon you have 80 of them but are still missing 4 or 5... and then someone says "hey, did you know they made a Blur for X company but they only made 25 and they all sold out".. and then you're selling your blood plasma.. but thats still not enough.. so you take a trip to Mexico and sell a kidney so you can pay off the loan shark you used to get money to buy that 1670PRBLK... but you use that money to buy a 1670S60V... and have to pawn your wedding ring for just a bit extra.. now you're divorced, have medical bills to pay from the loan sharks goons breaking your fingers.. and your ex-wife is taking you to court to get half your knife collection....

so you spread all your Blurs out on the bed and lay in the pile and think IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!
 
YES YES YES I want one, I only have one Blur and I really want another, purple would be sick. Also want a rainbow leek for shits and gigs.
 
I've been eye-banging the green and purple tango blurs for a minute now. I'm glad I can't decide between the two, because I might actually buy one otherwise!
 
What's this "Blur" thing everyone Is talking about?? I thought Kershaw only made Leeks???

The purple Blur pic courtesy of Kershaw facebook. Thank you Kershaw for the fun give a way of a Dimitri Sinkevich folder if you find the right employee and say the right words before someone else does. Great idea and good use of social media.

No ZTs. None laid out to buy. Once in a while one was hollered out to come and buy if you could hear the shout above the sharpening grinders constantly in action and the crowd noise.

No super steel blades were available when I entered the building at 2:30 except for composite D2 blade on one folder.

Friendly, knowledgeable and happy employees/crowd/everyone (my Woodstock). Thank you Kershaw, you are all right.

My haul from the first day, three hours to get in and one and one half hours to get out, of this exciting annual three-day event (back on Sunday, Sat. I'm down in Eugene at the OKCA mini-meet):
