I have (unfortunately) become interested in Kershaw knives. I do not need another hobby! :) I just purchased a Black Vapor today. One thing that I look for is knives that are made in the USA. Can any of you Kershaw fans tell me which of their line is made in the USA? How about the Lahar?

Secondly, is there a good source (book, etc.) that I can get to see what Kershaw has produced to date?

All of the "speedsafe" assisted opening knives are made here and several of the flippers are made here , the Lahar is made in Japan and an incredible knife I might ad. I do not know of a book to date, I do know someone that is currently working on one.

what do you mean "book" and "working on one"? are you saying that there will be a kershaw book? tell him/her that is working on this book, we need pictures LOTS of pictures

Ok, I know this probably sounds like a "boy scout" question, but my husband has a very old Kershaw Camp Kit (from the 70's, I believe) which has never been used and still has its original papers. It's in a leather/vinyl zipped bag and the handle of the knife is made of wood. There are three separate knife/saw type of attachments, in their separate holders inside of the bag. Does anybody have any idea of the value of this since I've found similar items, but none with the wooden handle. I sent an email to Kershaw, but haven't received a response. Thanks for any help you can offer.
