This is a Kershaw blem, I bought at one of the factory sales. It is marked as a blem with XXXX on one side of the blade. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish the reason it was discarded from first quality; but this one suffers from weak snap on opening. The speed assist opens it to the position shown in the photos, but for the final bit, one must use the thumbstud to fully open it. The finish and blade are nice, and when opened it locks in position firmly. This knife is new, never carried or used, and I have not tried to adjust the knife to see if the speed assist would work if the blade pivot torque were changed or whether it could be fixed with adjustment. If the lack of a perfectly functioning speed assist does not bother you, I've tried to price it fairly.
