Kershaw RAM questions.

Guys, I'm loving the Kershaw RAM more and more after watching the reviews on the youtube, I decided to buy one and see if it is really that great. As searching on the web, I found two different versions of this knife (see pics), seems like most ppl have the upper one with the smaller G-10 overlays on the handle, and I could not find any reviews on the lower one either on the forums or on youtube, does anybody know why there is change in the design and what's the differences between them?

No clue why they changed it but I have the one in the upper picture and love it. Plus I've had people try and buy it off of me because they was so impressed. Told em to go buy their own because this ones staying with me.

I would love to see them come out with some limited runs with different steels.
 
The one pictured in the second photo doesn't actually exist, as far as I know. IIRC mine was made in 2010 and it's just like the top one (except bead blasted instead of DLC coated).

It's much like the mythical 'Stonewashed Skyline' that's advertised on a few websites - no such thing exists.

Yea, that would be awesome. I've seen ppl pimping their RAMs and they all look beautiful.
 
Noticed another difference, the description on the lower one says 14c28n blade material and the upper one says 13c26 sandvic stainless steel.
