Kershaw RAM (Quick Question)

Congrats on a great knife buy. You will not be disappointed. Now have you seen a Blur? Several different colors and steel combinations great ergos super AO a great knife. We will talk about that later.;):D

For Heaven's sake, leave the poor man alone! You and I both know that once he sees and feels the fit and finish and handling of the RAM, he will have to explore more Kershaw knives. *cough* Lahar*cough* :D

That was painful, scarysharp.

Hoping you enjoy your new RAM when it gets there, Lock1454. When the factory-provided edge dulls, resharpen it from scratch instead of 'touching it up' and it'll grow on you (the very sharp factory edge doesn't seem to touch up as well as hand-honed edges. It's weird).

Hopefully when I get the RAM, I will be saying it is Oso Sweet and not that it Needs Work, perhaps even considered a true Ace. Your guys' constant badgering tossed my mind around with such Ener-g, it was like a Cyclone, it nearly caused me to Black Out. With the barrage (if only this were about Benchmade :D) of "PUSH THE BUTTON" demands, my psyche was a meager Splinter. It's all a Blur to me now... Since you all say the knife is so great, it must have it's own special Groove - the way you all describe it, the limit goes far beyond the Skyline. With all of the praise and cheer, it Offset my concern and I purchased the knife. Maybe my apprehension was really just a Speed Bump, the knife could have such Mini Mojo, it could Zing my heart and adhere itself to my pocket for years to come... Or it could just end up being pulled from my EDC like a Ripcord and Outcast forever, probably being gnawed on my some mangy Junkyard Dog, or II. Oh I jest, I could never do that. Everyone knows I'm quite the Pack Rat :)

Well played, Lock1454. Puns aren't for children. They're for groan men.

k12s,

Who cares if it's a tranny or a born woman? We're talking about knives. :p

Let's see... I ordered at 12:23AM this morning.. It is now 2:25PM... Granted I haven't gone to the porch yet this afternoon, but I think i can safely assume that it isn't here yet :P

Why do Kershaw's latest models have such small blades? How
about 3.5" or bigger?
Possibly due to the market. Many, many cities have ordinances forbidding blades longer than 3 or 3.5 inches. If you can't sell your knives in metropolises, you're limiting your sales. Plus, Kershaw/ZT already have a fair number of knives with blades longer than 3.5 inches. Some of the newly released models were/are pretty much destined for the big-box stores in...cities. ;)
