Kershaw-Random Task Shocker...

Ken seems to be into drilling holes in his knives as of late. Anyone know why that is?

Anyone know if Ken is hand making any Boas? Or has Kershaw got the exclusive right to that design now?

Wow guys ,

Thanks for the interest! I think I should set the record straight.I am Kershaws designer, but I still am, and alwayse will be a knifemaker. The knives pictured above are offshoots from the Boa , same handle different blade . Havn't figgered out a name yet. been rolling arround Morf just cause it's so different ,What do you think?

I also apolojise if this thread has turned into a Boa / Baby Boa thread as I know thats not what was intended .You guys flatter me so much I kinda feel unworthy,Thank you!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!! I don't know what else to say. I feel kinda guilty about all the attention as I know this isn't suposed to be a self marketing forum. But Thanks for all the support and positive response. You guys are the best!!!

The specs tend to change on each one I build as I use all kinds of marerials so I'll just give you the sizes.

Boa,

Blade length 3 1/2"
Handle 4 1/2"
Blade width 1 1/16"
Blade thickness 1/8
Handle thickness 7/16-1/2
Liners titanium .070
Belt clip yes titanium .040

Baby Boa,

Handle 3 1/16"

Both knives have Speed Safe and utilize a flicker. In the near future they will be available with different lock options .

Hope I answered all your questions . Oh about the real Boa trade, snakes are illegal in Hawaii and besides it would eat my kids ! But I appreciate the offer.

Aloha!!! Ken Onion

Ken you should put a lanyard hole in them. At least this hole serves a functional purpose, but are all to often left out. Lanyards are under rated in im my opinion.
