If you dont understand the reason for the graphics by now you never will . Go ahead and wait for one without it...

I submit that there is a distinction between understanding the reason for the graphics, and finding them aesthetically pleasing. It appears that some of us like the fundamentals of the knife but aren't fans of the flashy superficial details. Nonetheless, I'd be very interested in a more subdued version of this knife.

I guess the idea of a plain jane is a valid one but the whole reason for this knife is celebration. You wouldnt have this knife at all if it wasnt for the deserved celebration of 40 good years. The idea of the plain jane is definitely secondary in this case.

Back on topic, awesome video stick! It's refreshing to see someone actually use their L.E. knife. It looks like a mean slicer and comfy to boot. Loving the contrast of the red stand offs and the flair of the lines and clip.

Its a Kershaw so you want it in 14C28N and SS scales? Because a regular production Kershaw wont be ZDP 189 and solid Ti that would be a ZT.

Thanks for a nice Video review. However, I will pass on this one. It just screams "Gas station" knife too much to me. :p And for 4 big ones  A really nice Sebenza could be had for that. I agree with others about the branding being over the top and the black looks like a stack of tires. lol Yet I will hold out for a nice production one at around $200, the price of a Southard.
