Of course. I've been a fan of your photography from the jump. It appears that we have similar taste in cutlery. I will PM you, and or you me, next year B4 the event. Also, I plan to attend the OKCA annual meet in April in Eugene that everyone should attend. It is world class. Dennis, who I had a productive conversation with today, puts on a masterful show that isn't to be missed.
I will visit the factory, just a hop down the road as I live in Tualatin now, and inquire about the 2nd display so it isn't thrown out.
I was at the Oregon Knife Collectors Association mini-meet in Eugene today and picked up a purple Kershaw Cal. Legal auto from the Kershaw Guy. We talked history, he is the premier historian BTW, and he showed me some prototypes (photos) of recently acquired vintage Kershaw folders made in Japan by Kai with petrified wood handles. Some were one of one. An axe one of one. Made back in the Pete Kershaw days and collected by one of the original employees. We had attended a private sale where I got skunked and he did not.
What had been sold out at the factory sale was available in Eugene. Dave, the Kershaw Guy, is one the finest human beings that I have ever met. He sets a high standard in this industry.
