For the record I do have guilt not participating on these forums aside from guessing on some generous giveaways. I have been a religious 'lurker' however and have learned so much about knives in the past months! I tend to be one of those quiet Montana fellows that doesn't speak unless he has something good to say. When it comes to knives, well, I still have a lot to learn and I make purchases rarely and carefully.

Since I joined these forums back in August I've purchased two knives, the Kershaw ZT200 and a Spyderco Caly III. Given that my wife frowns on buying too many toys I thouroughly researched knives that would be a great fit for me in quality, design and price. These two knives have far exceeded my expectations in all three categories! I couldn't have made these choices without these forums, I would've just picked up the first neat knife I saw in Outdoor Sportsman as I've done in the past. Now, I've been introduced to the 'pharmacy' and wow, what great prices and service!

Needless to say I'd love to be more of a collector and acquire numerous ZT's, a group of leeks or break into the realm of CRK/Busse but other hobbies/passions drain my wallet too! I'm an 'active' memeber of a digital photography forum, two backpacking forums and even an edc forum. Between backpacking and photography it's all I can do to keep from going tragically into debt!

So, in short... Thank you nygiantsfan3342 for this generous giveaway. I have allowed access to my email since my present status doesn't allow PM's. I do understand that the strength of a forum community lies in members contributing in a constructive and knowledgeable fashion. I will work to overcome what I believe is my lukewarm knowledge in fine cutlery and chime in on topics that will inspire others as I have been by you all!

Wow Malius, no posts since Feb 25th. I thought you would at least thank me for the free knife! No email to even let me know you received the knife. USPS says you got it on the 29th. Hope you enjoy it!

:cool:...It's kina like when I make jerky or smoke some salmon or mullet...People from all over the neighborhood pop in to ask for some "samples" and then I never see 'em again...Not til I smoke up some more jerky or salmon...LMAO...:eek::D...Yep...this was one of the better giveaways I've lost...Thanks Jeremy...:):thumbup:
 
I don't need thanks, I'd rather him contribute to the forum. The giveaway was designed to encourage Kershaw knife discussion, but I should have been more demanding with the posting requirements.

I forgot all about post requirements with the giveaway I did yesterday...thought about it afterwards and need to remember it in the future...:D
