Kershaw Skyline Models???

Listing was expired...couldn't find a way to contact that guy. Listing was from back in May...

But thank you though, I appreciate the help anyway. :)

I'm not going to spend much more on Skylines. I only plan to add the black handle and two fixed blades to my collection. That would give me eight Skylines.

*Edited cuz I didn't read the rules fully. My bad.
Thanks @KnottyEagle for the heads up and thanks sticktodrum for the clarification of the rules. Won't happen again :)

Still cant make my mind up what knife to collect!!!! im going crazy thinking about it lol i have one model of about every kershaw knife now so i want to start collecting one certain model. better think about this some lol skylines or leeks?????

Trust me when I recommend you to NOT collect Leeks. There are way too many variants of this model. I have spent a small fortune on my Leek collection and still have many to find. I am up to about 90 or so now.

If you want an orange one, they're on sale for $29.99 at Cabela's right now! My wife snagged me one.

Not sure if its against forum rules, just wanted to pass on the deal for you Skyliners ;)
Not trying to hate on your little party, but that's against the rules. Cabela's isn't a supporting dealer like Kershawguy, BladeHQ, House of Blades, etc.

Thanks man. Been a crazy, expensive journey.... but love every second :)
Any idea on a dollar amount? I know personally I have spent way to much on Kershaws since November of last year. I'd hate to put a dollar amount on my small collection so far. BTW, I'm waiting for three more Kershaws to come in this week from the bay.

It was a Cabela's exclusive. Hasn't been for quite some time.

The description on Cabela's website says "This knife features a quality American-made blade with a distinctive stonewashed finish and you can only get it at Cabela’s." Searching around, I'm not able to find the orange knife anywhere but Cabela's, kershawguy.com, and various auction sites. Sounds like an exclusive item to me.

Kind of strange that informing a bunch of knife collectors about a good deal on a knife to put in their collection is against forum rules. That goes against the best interests of forum members. Who here can honestly say that they wouldn't want to hear where they can save some cash on the next item to go in their already-too-expensive collection?

Sorry to sidetrack the conversation, but if we are talking about Skyline's here, keep it real and allow people to talk about skylines without having to censor good info because it might offend a sponsor!

Interestingly enough, I have never even thought about totaling what I have spent on the Leeks. The thrill of the hunt and acquiring a rare one is the fun factor for me!! It is very addictive :)

Then your idea of what exclusive means is quite incorrect. An exclusive means that it is exclusive to that dealer. For the orange Skylines, that is no longer the case. It was exclusive to Cabela's, is no longer.

Alrighty, cool your jets there Governor. You should let the staff who run this forum decide what's against the best interest of the forum members. The rules say very plainly:

No deal spotting said:
Yes, we know you found a great price on the Ninja Disembowel 4000 at SuperPriceMART. We don't care. We'd prefer you support the dealers who support BladeForums.com.

As such, we don't allow deal spotting because otherwise the forums would be a quagmire of "deals" (real or imagined) posted everywhere, or unscrupulous people posting "deals" for non paying dealers. So don't do it.

So yeah, it's against the rules. You may want to lose the attitude and follow the rules that helps the dealers that support the forum. Offend a sponsor? I don't think you're going to offend kershawguy, trust me. Just relax a little bit.

Oops.... I posted that price from that vendor in another thread a little while back because I didn't know that rule either. Sorry!

The red skyline has eluded me for longer than I care to think about. When I'm on the hunt, it's never around. When I'm not actively looking, I'm sure I could get one if I really tried. Grrr.
