Kershaw Skyline stealing pocket time

I finally got around to getting a skyline, and like it a lot. I've been grabbing it every morning over my 2 dozen or so edc knives, mostly Spyderco. Any thoughts on the Skyline after extended carry?

No surprise there, really. It's a great, functional knife at a price cheap enough that you don't feel bad beating up on it.

I really dig my Skylines. The perfect amount of blade in that little handle. They don't get the carry time they deserve these days, but I'd sell everything else before letting them go.

If you get your hands on a blade forum skyline you'll never carry anything else. take an already strong knife give it a saber grind and s30v dress it in blade forums blue and stone wash oooh that's nice

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm tempted to get one in Damascus. I just got a basic model that I don't mind beating up a little. It's nice to have a cutter that you like and don't mind using. I love all of my collection, but am real hesitant to use the higher end ones. I did cut a pickle with a Temperance 2 the other day. It did a fine job, but I ended up spending more time cleaning it than I did slicing with it.

I didn't know this existed! I must track one down!

Carrying my 1760BRNCKT today for the first time in a very long time. I had forgotten just how nice it is and razor sharp.

Good luck! I don't think people like letting them go once they have one.

Correct assessment! I've seen a few on the exchange, but they're rare and probably almost triple what you spent on a regular model. But definitely worth it.

Oharal, the Damascus looks good with your checkered scales. Somebody who didn't know better might think it was entirely custom.

Skyline, and OD series are essentially the only Kershaw knives I dig. Simple, no over the top gimmicks, properly sized, good quality control! The fixed blade Skyline is a winner as well the sheath though is nasty albeit usable!

I vary my carry knife by the outfit I'm wearing that day. I'd carry a skyline more if there were a few more versions in different colors. Whenever I do carry my original or brown skyline, its like spending time with an old friend.
