Let's say I have a discontinued Kershaw folder. Mechanically, it's in fine shape, but it has a few cosmetic scrapes, dings, and scratches.

Does Kershaw offer something like a "spa treatment"? An address where I can send my knife to have it put back to "factory new" looks?

And if not Kershaw, are there Pimpers who would be willing to do the same?

Thanks in advance.

Kershaw just has a basic warranty as far as I know the only things they do are fix mechanical issues, send parts to you, and sharpen your knives for you. If your looking for some kind of cosmetic change I'm sure some other forum members can direct you to some good guys that do those kinds of things.

What knife is it if you don't mind me asking?

I will answer, as soon as I make sure I'm not outbid. ;)

Thank you, Scurvy.

Actually, there is a machine shop near me that may be able to do the job.....

Now that I was able to use the "Buy It Now" option, I can divulge the nature of this mystery.

It was a plain-Jane Mini-Cyclone. Fine edge, assisted, with whatever the non-ZDP blade steel was.

I bought a full-size Cyclone at a flea market some years ago, with the intention of trying, then flipping.

I like it so much, I didn't want to part with it!

But it's a little large for me, so I'm hoping the Mini-size will be enough to make it okay to get rid of the full-size.

Probably not, but.....
