Kershaw Speed Safe assisted knives: store open or closed?

Does it matter? Which has the least amount of pressure on the spring?

Neither puts any pressure on the torsion bar.

some like to remove the torsion bar to store seperate from the knife

The end of the torsion bar which is attached to the blade moves in an arc. The resistance when you start to open the blade is the torsion bar being compressed back, it then springs forward again opening the blade. There is no built up pressure when the knife is closed as with other AO mechanisms.
