Kershaw Steven Seagal

It must have something going for it, since it gets so much discussion, even with the negative remarks tossed in. :)

before you make an attempt at second grade sarcasim, you should do some research on Steven and his many claims.

No, you are not an internet junkie, or you'd know better than to tell someone to "do some research". If you have a point to make, make it, don't expect me to scurry around making it for you.

On the other hand, if you think research assignments are appropriate, do some research yourself and see what YMMV means ...

You don't have to search for it, but we've had this discussion a couple of times already, and his history has been dredged up and laughed over, as if it has anything to do with the knife. YMMV ... Your Mileage May Vary, you may have a different opinion, but

I hate to think I have to research the character of everyone involved in everything I do or see or buy before I could be sure it hadn't been tainted by offending someone else.

Actually 'Under Seige' with Seagal wasn't too bad...I do remember a cute blonde and good knife fight in it...LOL

I would love a Jane Fonda NVA bayonet.
The reason the knife is such a good deal is because it has Steve's name on it.
I almost bought one and would have polished off the name. I got a whicked deal on a Gerber multi tool because it was the Terminator 3 model as well.

Never thought of it that way. Maybe Busse will build an Ed Asner model, and I can get it cheap.

Thomas, I did not realize they were not made anymore......Great knife, reguardless of whose name is on it.....I think that was the real story of this thread, simply that it is a great knife that is now being sold for $35 and that it is a value. If you don't like Segal fine ( I am not a fan either) but let the knife stand on its merits.....

This knife has a lot of use potential. When I first saw it in pics I thought the shape and overall profile was a bit... well, odd. Didn' t look like it would really work in the hand. But when I got a hold of one, I realized that it actually fills the hands quite well, much to my surprise. Construction, materials, fit and finish are excellent for a production. But that darn recurve blade... :(

I bought one and I think that it is a well made knife and especially at the price.

No, I don't care for the writing on the blade, but I think that it is a good knife.
