I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with the Kershaw knife shown here:
http://cutlerscove.com/survival-knives/kershaw-survival.htm

I happen to have one and am kinda interested in opinions from those in the know.
I got it used about 10 years ago and had forgotten about it.
My brother recently returned it to me; I had left it at his house years ago.
Anybody ever try to use one?

Thanks for looking.

Just my limited opinion, but it looks awkward with the finger grooves. They have a tendency to limit the versatility of the knife and the so called sawback is next to useless. They were originally designed on other knives like the Pilots survival knife, to be used for cutting your way out of an airplane that has crash landed. They may notch, but sawing through wood and such would be a long and energy draining proposition with that knife.

My dad ordered one about 15 years ago, and it never came so we never got to try it out.:(
