Kershaw Tilt in Vanax 75

Congratulations Kershaw!

I just posted in another thread (missed this one) - wondering about the ergos?

That hump in the handle does look uncomfortable - but must not be or it wouldn't get that award right?

Have you handled it revhard05? I read on 2BK, Thomas saying there would be subtle changes to what I saw posted there, but who knows what?

I'm unsure if your comment is designed to be critical, but hopefully there is understanding when it comes advanced technology and production firsts. Circumstances beyond one's control certainly can prevent projects like the Speedform and Tilt from being completed sooner than later. Setbacks and delays can be quite common.

I would hope manufactures would not be discouraged in trying new steels, and pushing the production envelope to new levels because of the potential delivery setbacks that's associated with difficult and industry leading/changing projects.

With that said, there is not an ETA on the Tilt at this time. I'll keep everyone posted.

That's why I stated that, because I do understand all of the associated factors. My employer works the same way. They get a new idea, prototype it and present it. Customers like it and it takes around a year to get it out in quantity. No criticism intended, as I have always been a Kershaw fan, just telling it like it is. Congrats on another well deserved award:thumbup:

Congrats on the award Thomas! The design and production team should be very proud of this one. I'm starting to save my pennies now. :D

Congratulations Kershaw!

It feels wonderful in hand. Thomas kept a real close eye on
me the whole time I was at the Kershaw booth.
;) :D

Uhmm, year is a quite longer than I'd like. Still, it's an interesting and unique design. Plus the new steel.

Thanks Thomas, I'm looking forward to this one.

Really like the blade profile. The clip has got to go, that's furniture & auto paint destruction just waiting to happen at waist level.
The side of my car by the driver side door can attest to that. :)

Just saw this blade in the newest issue of blade magazine, i want one so bad

here ya go

My Speedform has been my CONSTANT EDC since I got it. This will have to join it as a must have EDC. I will have one!!

Yeah, although I still want it, very much.
I've placed preorder with fellow BF forumite, except can't find the email...

Does anyone know if the Tilt is an Limited production or regular production ????????????????

From what I've heard, very limited production on The Tilt.
+1 on this -- definitely limited production.

I'll be curious to see if there are some blems that kershawguy and others will be selling: given the degree of difficulty in manufacture and sheer amount of tech in these, I'd be surprised if there weren't a decent number of ones that didn't pass QC. Hopefully they'll make it onto the streets via kershawguy and others, since I'd love to have some Vanax 75 to play around with in addition to what I'll have on the couple regular ones I should get via pre-orders.
