Kershaw Tolerance 0999 has every problem ever, SO DISAPPOINTED!!!11

Well that blows! Mine had no detent then when I complained they had me send it in and charged me NOTHING to do it! I mean who does that, the nerve of some companies! Then when I got it back I couldn't flip it with the thumb studs because there was bacon grease on my fingers. So I tried to use that little protruding thing on the back of the knife. Anyone even know what that is? It looks like they forgot to cut something off before it left the factory!? So what do you know it flipped open. Then I took it apart and noticed the bearings weren't square, they were too round! So now I am so dissapointed. They better send my family to disneyworld or I am writing them off for atleast 2 weeks.

Yours had no detent? Mine had 3 of em stuffed in there. My thumbs, elbow and ankle are bloody from trying to open the thing. Finally, after placing the blade in a vice and slipping a 6 foot piece of galvanized pipe around the handle was I able to get the dam thing open.

And another thing that bothered me...the knife failed the "Slam the knife against a concrete highway abutment from the car window while doing 75 MPH". WHen it hit, THE BLADE WAS CLOSED AGAIN! What if my fingers had been there when it hit the cement? What if some passer-by picked it up and tore several ligaments in their limbs trying to open it?

And as for batoning, don't even get me started....

Oh Gosh so I'm not the only one with problems? First it Tried to open it with the thumbstud since Flippers scare me and it make a bruise on my thumb that hurt so bad I had to have my Mommy kiss it to make me feel better and eat Lucky Charms till I was nursed back to health. Then I tried the Flipper after 2 months of therapy to get the mental strength to use the flipper. I opened so fast that the bearings caught on fire and burnt off my knuckle hair. Thank goodness my Mommy was on standby with Milk and Cookies and a 1st aid kit! So after my hair grew back and now wearing a Set of gloves, I flipped open the 0999 and finally saw the blade. The Grind on one side was .000000000000000000125 shorter then the other side!?!?! Then I went to cut some paper and it was Too Sharp! I didn't even get close to the paper and it was already cut! WTF?! Is this Normal...Then I gave it to my Cousin Billy Tom and he Spine whacked it on his Trailer and his Darn Trailer Fell apart! Then I tried to Carry it and realized it was over 5oz! Holy Batman on Christmas, I almost lost my pants! I was so disappointed that I put it in my desk drawer and never touched it till today. I go to use it to cut open a Letter from Chuck E Cheese and realize it has Blade Play!!! How could that happen, I've never used it. I heard these Ti Framelocks were Weak! Guess its true! Man ZT WTF, you make crappy knives, I'm going back to my Mtech, least they have pretty colors and shiny accents! Why make knives so sharp and strong! All I need a knife to do is open my cookies and to take pictures of it. Names like ELMAX and Vanax confuse me.... :stupid:

I absolutely hate mine too! Kershaw said to send it in for a free repair, but I'd rather complain on the forums instead. Why would anyone get the problems fixed when it is so much fun to whine?

Whining is SO much better, because whining gets me attention, and I'd much rather be an attention w***e, than get my knife fixed. I also like faking that my lock disengages with pressure to the spine. That gets me EVEN MORE attention.

Don't get me started with that 14C28N, and 8CR13MOV. How the hell am I supposed to remember all those numbers and letters

And what's really tragic is that they only missed millennial perfection... by ONE! (It's the loneliest number.)
