Kershaw Vapor III - brand new but w/ a problem

Hello all, I purchased a Vapor III, and the first thing I did upon opening it was try to reverse the pocket clip.

Unfortunately, one of the screws stripped out instantly and now I cannot remove it.

Does Kershaw warranty cover this? this was a low cost knife, not sure if it is worth sending it anywhere for repair or replacement.

Other than that the knife is great, smooth as silk out of the package.

Kershaw's warranty will definitely take care of that. They are very busy with SHOT '13 at the moment so you may want to wait until the end of next week to ask.

Hmm, fixed it myself, for now,

I Hammered a T7 torx bit into the stripped screw, and then used the T7 to unscrew it. I heard a distinct "pop" upon unscrewing it, like there was loctite in there. I replaced the stripped screw with another from a donor knife that uses a T6 bit. Looks odd, but it works for now:
