Kershaw Volt. (Pics Galors!)

Hi folks -

It's official - my Volt drew blood, but not from the blade.

My office chair has arms, and when I was sitting down today, I had my right hand on the arm and when I sat down the clip from my Volt in my right front pocket slashed the knuckle on my right thumb.

It's not a huge wound or anything, but this has never happened with any other knife I have ever owned.

I'll be doing the Joshua J. re-contouring of the clip this evening.

best regards -

I'm glad you put the Mil up there for comparison. That's one hefty knife! I've never been sold on the whole "composite blade" thing, but this looks well done and nicely functional. Thanks for the great write-up!

I've had my blem Volt for a couple of days now, and I really like it. I love the idea of the clip, even if it does need to be rounded as noted above. I couldn't initially find a flaw on mine, but soon realized something was up with the grind... I went to sharpen it and found one side was well over 30 and the other about 25... got that straightened out and now all is well with the world. I second every good thing said about the knife above.

Hi Slidetechnik -

They use a brazing process with copper I believe.
