Ok, I'm lucky and spoiled but I got in early this morning. btw I found out all the police ativity was someone had a stroke. Guess the excitement was too much. As mentioned, lots of good stuff. I really was there only to take a friend... who nearly wet his pants with excitement
But I DID buy something because I just couldn't pass on the 1725SG2 JYD at $99. I was told by Thomas that the esitmate of 700, was probably high
Other stuff I saw:
1. a small ZT table. 301/302s were around $170 I think.
2. boxes full of JYD2s, green and black $24.. and JYD1s at $19
3. Boxes of black, green and red Needs Work $19
4. Damascus Leeks $40
5. ETs both handles... lots
6. Lots of Offsets, G10 and splattered. $99 I think
7. Lots of speed Bumps
8. G10 Leeks, Random Leeks
9. Lots of the high volume scallions, chives etc. Rainbows and other themes
10. Titanium JYD SG2s... maybe 10-15 $99
11. Tyrades same, maybe 10-15 $149
12. They had a lot of the OTF daggers... I forget the name.
13. A traditional folders table
14. Lots of the large Cyclone, and even with tanto.
15. some Grooves, just regulars
16. Boxes of Ener-g and Ener-G2s...
Almost all of the above were XXX. But, who cares?
* No mini cyclones
* No 1800s... I wanted one ;(
* No spec bumps
* No 1050s
* No ZT Mudds
* No Rams (wishfull thinking
* No limiteds
It was fun... I got to meet Kershaw Guy, as nice in person as on here... I had to get back to work, so I missed hooking up with him at the end. (Dave, are you here all weekend?))))
Also, I know Ken Onion is in town for this... but I didn't see him that early
