Kershaw/ZT Picture Thread!!! Let's See Em'!

I dream of a redesigned 0550 with a thinner locking side in the way it has been done on the 0562
The action of the 0550 is really incredible
Yes it is, especially given its on washers and not on captured steel bearings.

IMHO the 0550 is just right. Nothing into it is non sense
My only complaint it it's weight and excessive thickness
I am sad ZT doesn't offer other good knives on washers

Well the ZT 0630 is on washers, as is the recently disco'd 0620 series. The 0620 is a fabulous knife and holds up to a lot of thrashing.

I was meaning washers and non flipping knife

Yes but the 0550 is just a simple and smooth knife without any special features and Inlike that very much
My only issue is the thickness of the titanium with makes it so heavy

I can concur. I've been using a 0620 exclusively for work and it does have a 0550 feel to it. Very smooth and thumb deploys just as nice.

That's a Starkey ridge, looks like the xxl g10 model (#1416). Extremely nice knives. Came in a few different sizes with G10 or titanium handles.

1410 was the titanium version. Nylon washers, and an ATS-34 blade. They were marketed under Kershaw's High-Tech series at the time.

They are really nice knives, especially given the period they were made. Thanks to Bad Juju for introducing me to the model, it's history and all the other information he provided me with regarding the Starkey Ridge. I love carrying mine.

My latest Kershaw, another Blur. It happens to be one of my favorite models. But I have my first Launch on it's way! :)
