Kershaw ZT0600 RJ Martin Q36

Oh no! You sold your's? Wish I had known it was up for sale as I'm still trying to score a second one, but NOTfor $750!

Oddly, my local purveyor of sharp things just left me a message re their getting a couple in and he has no info on them. Thanks for the 2012 Blade show info - I read the specs to him. With s/t, his store prices, close to retail MSRP these days, will still be just less than half the op's price paid. Maybe it's rarity drives the price... who knows. Still, you can't pay too much for a good knife... the price paid for a real 'keeper' is soon forgotten... you'll recall that turkey's cost forever, however.

Not so fond of flippers... and I have several real BG-42 bladed 110's, etc, that were super - until I dulled one! Then I had a new career. No 0600 for me. YMMV.

That seller mixed both kershaw & rj martin together as one maker.if you paid by paypal you should put in a dispute. ive seen alot of nonsense in knives on ebay lately, like a 20.00 s & w 1000 knife when it first came out numbered for 295.00 & it was a rare collectible.sellers are really getting out of hand on there, its such a joke it isnt funny....

Hey Stainz, hope you are doing well.

Before you write it off at least go hold one and feel the heft of it. It feels really, REALLY good in my hand. I would prefer thumbstuds myself, but due to some neuropathy in the tips of my fingers on the right hand, I had to start using flippers. But now the neuropathy is gone and I can use thumbstuds but I still buy some flippers because I've come to like them. The 600, with the heavy blade (3/16" thick), is a heck of a flipper, and couple that with the bearing system, and you have a knife blade that just springs to action at a moments notice.

I know you and I generally like the same knives, so just give it a looksee and you may find that you can't live without it!!:D

Btw, my second 600 arrived today and I'm happy as a pig in mud!!

^ wow, 2 of them, i have one, do i dare get another? they are about the coolest zt yet!its real close to custom, they really went all out on this one....

Cutter17,

I'll try to get over there and fondle an 0600. Keep in mind that my wife gave me an original 0777 for my birthday a couple of months back. I couldn't get excited with the prototype at the last two BLADE! shows. I never used mine - just looked it over a time or two - photographed it - and, with her blessing, I sold it - a first for me. I love my 0551 - bought a spare - like my 0561, too, despite it's flipper. I guess I'm an odd duck.... er, make that a Dodo. I found a closeout deal on the Spydie CF Dodo this summer. Weird - but neat - knife! It's been my EDC for most of the summer, it's lite weight being appreciated.

Re the neuropathy - I was diagnosed with type II D a few summers back - being large enough to get my own zipcode finally caught up with me. I just take a pill so far - and may quit it soon as the weight continues to drop. My toes tingle so far - my hands have CTS problems, making hand strength quite minimal. Heck of a note to hand a new bottle - or slipjoint - to my wife to open! Still, I made it to 65 this summer - a milestone of sorts.

My last two sharp things purchased were a couple of Spydie fb's - no problem opening them! Take care!
