Thanks for the great site, I really love the easy access to the blems.

One quick question. You have two blem NRG's, but one is marked as an NRG II, and the other just a plain NRG, but both are listed as the same model number and the same blade size. If I understand correctly, the NRG is supposed to be smaller than the NRG II correct?

I'm asking because the NRG (with the ~2.75in blade) is pretty much my ideal EDC, and I would gladly snap one up at that price. I just want to know which one is which, and if they are the same or not before I order.

Thanks!

They are both 1745's the only difference is that one has a black blade and the other is satin, these are the larger NRG, the smaller one is a 1740.

1745 Satin NRG arrived today! It took me a while to identify the imperfections on the finish--they are fairly minor. This is an awesome deal! Just ordered an orange packrat blem. =)

I'm planning on EDCing these blems and using them for harder use tasks, because I won't feel as guilty if I accidentally mar them or get a small chip in the blade. Good stuff!

one thing you might wanna add on your webpage is the edge lenght and not just the blade lenght.

also, a searchable or decending blade/edge/closed/open lenght and/or price list would also be helpful so one would not have to click on every single knife and some how remember all the prices and specs for each knife would be great. I know for a fact that after 2 or 3 knifes, I tend to forget and get fustrated and then just end up going to another website.

I also hear from others that you have a great shipping policy where people get there stuff fast. I'd say that is one of the most imporant things. Most things take like a week to two weeks to get to me and that's with over night shipping (at least thats what the shipper says he sent it). Odd seeing as I've gotten things from 1 or 2 people which have come in 2 days and I have def bought from those venders again rather then the others.

I do like the way you have the pictures set up.

Man i'm having a tough time here....orange Packrat or red Skyline? Good job on the site btw.
Skyline is lighter, but the packrat has more belly. I personally like the red over orange though. Ergonomics wise, I'd go for the packrat. Heck, might've gone for the packrat if I didn't see the skyline first.

I already pulled the trigger on the red skyline but thanks for the input anyway. I think im still going to be getting the Packrat next week if it's still in stock.

Nice. My red skyline just arrived today as well (the NRG blem I ordered was delivered to my work, the Red Skyline I got off ebay for about +$11 over thekershawguy). I've since ordered a packrat blem.

I might get the packrat anyway if I like the Skyline. Though I hope the option to choose the method and speed of delivery is available. First class is last class for USPS, and unless I'm reading the thing wrong, it took 3 days before they shipped it out of Oregon.

People are always saying how fast my shipping is and I use first class, because I found out that USPS treats first class exactly the same as Priority. Plus My shipping is free, I probably won't offer overnight for free.

Just found out that my daughter left two packages, that she was supposed to take to the PO on Tues. in her car till Yesterday, so It was my fault not the PO, she is now relieved of that job. Sorry for the time loss.

I am going to give you the packrat for the screw up, I feel bad about it, I work really hard to get these packages out ASAP and I was trying to help my daughter earn gas money all she had to do is drop off packages each day on her way into town, and she has repeatedly messed it up, so it is way to important to me to trust anyone else to do this, any I am sending you a packrat, would you like orange or Black ? Also I can show you 100's of examples of my first class packages being delivered in three days, they really do treat it the very same as Priority. The thing I like about it is I can afford nice boxes and padded envelopes inside and still not get soaked on shipping.

Ah yes, I just noticed the free shipping:D. I do find it interesting that first class ships the same as Priority since eBay typically puts Priority mail a day or two ahead of First Class in expected shipping dates. Placebo perhaps? Ah well, at least in paying the extra everytime I did my part to stimulate the economy:thumbup:.

If it's free I can't complain really, much like with free food;). Thanks for the offer anyhow. I'll be waiting on the Tilt.

First class is certainly as fast as Priority. Shipped on the 19th, arrived on the 22nd:thumbup:.

Here she is:

I put a tree-topping edge on it for work tomorrow. Flips surprisingly well for a manual. Makes my XM-18 feel clunky:D.

Orange Packrat Blem ordered late Friday afternoon, arrived Monday. =)

Minor scratch on the handle. The edge needed to be re-profiled. I used spyderco sharpmaker with diamond coarse, medium ceramic, fine ceramic, ultra fine ceramic 30 degree inclusive back bevel, followed by a 40 degree inclusive edge using the fine ceramic and ultra fine ceramic). It's now nice and sharp (like all my other knives).

I love the shape! What a great deal for a sweet orange knife with a unique form factor.

Got my Skyline in today and I am impressed. It is a great knife. Big thanks to Kershawguy for getting it here so quickly. I still might get the Packrat but I am having money issues right now due to Boost Mobile

Looks great Dave!
