I figured I'd share some more videos I put together for Dave (kershawguy). I switched over to a Sony NEX-5R for all of the B roll footage, and the overviews are still done with my NEX-VG30. I also got a new camera slider in, and it's been pretty fun to play with.

So, here are some short overview videos. Any further feedback and criticism is welcome.

Wow, great reviews stick! im officially hooked on the 0801, those were some amazing angles in the beginning of the vid.

Stick those video's are a very good quality with good commentary, personally I do not like the music, but I understand it's just for background. I really thought they were good, as in the exact opposite of Nutn-moron. Now all you need to do is get a skyline custom coated and sell em for $300!

I think you screwed up on the shuffle Mario, Isn't it 3crmov steel now and not the 8crmov mentioned?
Other than that, Very awesome work! I enjoyed the stunt butt for the pocket shots! Good job to Manny too!

Is it? I thought that was a typo or something... Now I see the site says 3CR.... WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?

And again, thank you guys. :) I hope Dave likes them.

Now that you made those videos, it's time to "test" them (extensively) by going through as many outdoor tasks as possible in a 5 to 10 minute video. :D

What would be a better way than to sell the knives' craftsmanship to the public by showing the life they live in the wilderness?

I have one of the Zings. Had to wear it in, unlike the beadblasted one, but it flips great now. The background music reminds me of... oh never mind. I don't watch those kinds of videos, really.

Great work on the videos.

I picked up a Double Cross and Wild Turkey from Kershawguy earlier this summer. Was looking for a birthday knife... something different from what I normally get. It was down to the Shun Higo Nokami or the Double Cross and Wild Turkey. I opted for the latter. They are beautiful (and functional) pieces. The Damascus pattern is definitely more subtle than the Alabama Damascus, but it still looks pretty cool. I've carried the Double Cross quite a bit since I got it, and it has proven itself quite capable.

Thanks flarp. :) I love the traditional designs, and when Dave was telling me about the Japanese Kershaws, I was curious as to how they'd be so special. I can't crystalize it, but they have a feel to them that is so charming, I have a hard time putting them away.

I have one of the regular Double Cross knives, and it still is my carry knife with suit or dress pants when I don't want a pocket clip showing (which is fairly rare, but still).
