PERHAPS I HAVE THE TECHNICAL NAME OF THIS KNIFE INCORRECT, BUT HERE'S MY TWO CENTS! LOOKING FOR MODERATELY PRICED KNIFE YOUR NOT HEARTBROKEN IF YOU LOOSE...THIS IS IT! FORGET THE FANCY NEW MECHANICS OF THE ONION, TAKE A LOOK AT KERSHAW'S NEW FOLDER RETAILED AT $135, I PICKED UP THREE AT $65 EACH! SORRY I'M KEEPING THEM ALL! BOTH THE TITANIUM AND G-10 ARE NICE AND SMOOTH, BUT I PREFER THE G-10 FOR DAILY CARRY. FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. I'M NO COMBAT SPECIALIST, BUT IN THE REAL WORLD THIS KNIFE SEEMS TO DO JUST FINE. KEEP IT IN MIND $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I think your talking about the Starkey Ridge.
And I agree, alot of knife for the money.
They make a X-large version of this knife with a 4 " blade also. I just can't get past the idea that, for me, a knife is a tool. I would dearly love a Sebenza, but 300+ for a tool is alot to ask, not that it wouldn't be worth it. At that price I would always be afraid of losing or damaging it.

I have been the happy owner of the identical knife (Starkey Ridge) with Titanium scales. Its a mystery to me that it doesn't get more attention.

The quality of my knife was flawless from the box. The blade shape and ergonomics of the handle show excellent design.

I have done the r.k liner lock FAQ test, and it passes with flying colors. The knife comes with spare screws and nylon bushings, and directions for disassembly. The ATS-34 comes from Kershaw incredibly sharp, and rarely need resharpening.

Although I have no other knives from Kershaw, if they make them all of this quality, they're a superior alternative to Benchmade. (My only Benchmade came unevenly ground.) And Benchmade's warranty is voided if you disassemble their knives...

My Ti-34 is my constant pocket companion, and I'm buying a good friend the G-10 version for Christmas... "When you care enough to give the very best..."

Thanks for identifying my knife, it is indeed a Starkey Ridge upon further review. I also own Kershaw's Ti-Talon, very smooth-good conversation piece to show off, but the curved shape of the handle is just a little uncomfortable in the pocket. I've noticed most Kershaws are exceptional at quick one handed operation. I love my mini socom but it takes a bit more coordination to open quickly and smoothly...I'll keep it tight and protected and continue to carry the Starkey.
