good offerings today. if i didnt already have a balance knife that was 16" oal, and 35 oz, i would grab one of these. my next purchase from here will be when my custom klvuk arrives. 12" and somewhere in the ballpark of 18oz. Auntie said it may happen this month. here is to hoping.

Hi, I see that 1, 3 & 5 have a smaller, rounder butt. Is there a name for that or is it a specific style....or just the kami's preference?
 
If I can get a closer photo of No. 3, I might sign adoption papers! I prefer the curved spines & handles over the hard angled ones.
 
so is umy understanding correct that satisal wood, is the same as indian rosewood, just by a different name, but the same actual product?
 
I believe so ulua, neem wood is the only one I think we call the same thing-- like Chandan is sandalwood.
 
Congrats on #7 moparsbob... I am glad you ended up getting one. I love #7, that was going to be my second choice. It looks like it will clean up nice.
 
never seen klvuk offerings last more than 2 days-- wishing I could have jumped in on this round :D
 
I got #1 and #3 coming my way..... one for me and one for a gift... as long as I don't get too attached to both. facepalm. Great products from HI as usual will post pics when I get them.
