Here is a Bill Kessler made American tanto with maker made leather sheath. Knife as near as I can figure is from the mid 80's. Kessler no longer makes knives and quit as I understand in the late 80's. Some elongated light scratches which match taking it and out of the sheath. Other than that the knife is pretty well unsued as in an unsharpened edge etc. etc. Stag is gorgeous and tight. My understanding also is that this is an integral knife as were the majority of knives he made even his folders. Hollow ground blade of s.s. and again I assume it is ats34 or 154cm but might be 440c although I have no way of knowing it is. Anyways it is a very fine example of American handmade craftsmanship.
