Ketchup time

Grinding? I maybe more tempted to lite up the forge. I did get 7 blades heat treated last night so I may try some grinding but the cold and the wind really got to me yesterday.

Mike, a number of the piece's are ones I've had around for awhile but most the smaller knife blades I did last week. I never time myself but on the smaller blades I did about 5 durring the day but not all at once. I usually quit when I start getting sore or I need to come in to warm up. Most the knife blades started out as varrious type of agricultural tines.

Dang Ray!...you are giving me the chills!!!

As I wipe the sweat off my brow....it's sunny and about 74 degrees here in Ohio today:p The toes of my shoes are grass-stained from just mowing the lawn and sweeping the clippings off of the porch. There's a nice breeze blowing which keeps the wind chimes singing...

SLAP!...ok, I just woke up...we had a warm slushy snow yesterday which froze into a bumpy icy mess this morning. The roads are covered in a black wintery sludge with pot holes growing by the minute under a dull grey sky dampening the sun. It's a typical winter day here in the mid-west. iiik!!:(

Think of happy places....and get back to grinding those blades!

They look great Ray..you dont leave much to grind it doesnt look like.

I got some 1" 1080 series hex and square coming from Pacific Machine Tool..thanks again for steering me their way...Mike

Good Job You have a lot of work for the weekend. You are going to love you KMG grinder. It is a great tool. I owned another brand and now I'm thinking of selling it and buying another KMG from Rob. Your jokes make my day. ;)

Bob, Its not only a good grinder its also built like a bull. I won't go into what happend but lets say it was along the lines of the old Timex watch advertisements, Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

So I'm guessing that you can confirm that a KMG won't bounce! Probably won't melt like one of them Bader things either, but let's not find out!
