I recently purchased a Spyderfly from Kevin, who goes by the username Bl4des on these forums.
I sent my payment saturday morning, the knife was shipped on monday, and I received it wednesday. It was well packaged.
I was disappointed to find that the knife was not well maintained. The pivots were stuffed with dirt, there was an ungodly amount of very old (non-functioning) blue threadlocker in the screws/pivot area, blade rub was a problem, and there are a few chips in the cutting edge that he didn't make clear in his post. A quick disassembly and cleaning took care of all these problems however (except the chipped blade), and now she flips like a dream.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase from Kevin. Good communication, shipping, and packaging. My only issue is the chipped blade edge. I wasn't planning on using this knife for much cutting, but it hurts the aesthetic. Kevin can improve by cleaning his knives more often, or at least before he sells them. But then again, I did enjoy taking it apart and cleaning it myself.
