I have been delinquent in posting knives recently, so I thought I would start catching up :D

This is a folder that I ordered from Kevin, and picked up at the ECCKS. Kevin is a super nice guy and very easy to communicate with, as well as "spot on" in regard to delivery time frame

He makes beautiful feather damascus, and I think he has developed a recognizable "style" to his work, which is something I look for

Scales here are stabilized curly koa - very tight curl. LApis thumb stud, anodized liners. Fit and finish is excellent, action is very smooth:cool:

Kevin makes very fine knives (folders & fixed) and offers beautiful and well executed damascus blades.
About 4-5 different variations of extraordinary feather patterns alone.

That's a very slick piece - Kevin makes a big impression in a small space with his damascus patterns.

Bill, thanks for posting the knife. It was great working with you and the wood you provided is some of the finest I have used.

I want to thank everyone for all the good words too. It's always great to hear good things about one's work. And as always Coop provided a great picture. Thanks to all- kc :)

I had the pleasure of meeting kevin at the NYCKS in Nov. He is a great guy and a real talent artist knifemaker. He has become a good friend and mentor to me. He taught me how to do the feather pattern which has become a main stay of my work.. Props to kevin :D:D:D:D:D:thumbup::thumbup:
