Haha! Thank you. They both deserved it.

This sword arrived before Christmas, and it sat for a week plus, before I could muster the needed energy to begin the project. I am limited in my studio size for swords, so they task me when it needs to get done.

In the end: Got it. BIG sigh of relief. Thank you for noting. :)
 
Stunning! As an Ancient Rome aficionado and a big Cashen fan this one just speaks to me.

I love the package but as I look at the photos I keep getting drawn to the scabbard. Amazing detail and craftsmanship there!

At the risk of posting something that’s only barely relevant, for which all here will hopefully forgive me if they deem it apropos, here’s a link to the video Kevin recently posted of his ‘Making of a Kukri’.


I know it’s not really related to this outrageous Spatha project, but as Kevin no longer posts on this forum, I figured those that were interested in his work might appreciate seeing it. Also, I noticed it’s a new youtube account for him, so it might be worth following him through it.
