Has anybody here handled this knife? It appeals greatly to me. I've seen the data and pictures on Wilkins homepage. But to get a real idea what it's like, I'd like to hear or even better see it compared to some well known production knife (pref. Spyderco or BM) in terms of handle size and general handling and feel. How does it compare to a paramillie or something similiar?

I too am VERY interested in that knife!! I have never handled one either. I am curious too. I can't wait to hear responses!

I have held the Ghost dog pup and it is a fantastically put together knife, the hold is similar to a classic sebbie with the deep finger cut out but of course the backend is more rounded. Its light and feels really good in my hand. As far as comparison goes it blows away spyderco and benchmade its not a production type knife. And it depends on what you hold, I heald the framelock, if you get the linerlock it will hold wider and differently but the liner is as wide as the framelock or at least seems like it. The thumb hole is nice and its angled into the hole rather than having a strait line into the hole, a lil more comfortable for your thumb and the cutout next to the hole is nice if your not so much of a hole person and I think it adds to better opening. I dont know if this helped or not, its hard to describe stuff to people its much easier to have them hold it, a friend of mine has one and if I can get it and line it up next to a sebbie for pic purposes I will.

Thanks, a picture would be great. It's almost five years since I've handled a sebbie. Maybe you could put some other knife into the picture as well.

I'd go for the framelock. I have a thing for framelocks right now. I have a Buck/Mayo and I'm mulling getting a small Sebenza. I'm still working up to spending so much money on a knife. The Ghost Dog Pup is the hottest contender for becoming my first custom folder.

Thanks for the info!! After I get my current order of custom knives in, one of Kevin Wilkens' knives is on the top of my list. I want the framelock version. I too have a "thing" for framelocks! I like the clear green G-10 or is it G-11? And I am mad about titanium!!

Yup, love titanium too. Ti watch, ti spork, ti colored car...

Does anybody know how long Wilkins waiting list is? Just read that you have to wait for more than 2 years fo the lochsa. That is just too much for me.

I would wait 2 years or more for a knife that I REALLY wanted!! And the Ghost Dog Pup IS one of those for me!
