Hi Bladeforums,
This is a colaboration between bladesmith Herb Kettel and myself. It was a demo knife for a basic blademithing class that Herb and I teach at the New England School of Metalwork. Herbert designed the knife and forged the blade and I did the grind, the HT, the filework and the sheath. The blade is 1095 and has a natural temperline. This knife has an extreme distal taper and is over 1/4 at the ricasso. The handle is linen Micarta with brass pins. The sheath is 9-10 oz Veg Tanned and is acrylic treated for weather resistance. This knife wears both my Cavallo Rossi and Herbs HK carving. Price includes shipping in CONUS. MO prefered.
Blade: 5 3/4"
Handle: 4.5"
Thickness: .260
Price: $250
Thanks for looking!
