Key ring knives?

--- I've got a H1 FS Ladybug --- If you want to go with the full serrations I'd say opt for the H1 seeing as it has more edge retention than the VG-10.

Good point. I found some threads about this at the Spyderco forum. It seems to be that the VG-10 works better for plain edge while the H1 is better choice for serrated.

Finally! It took some time but I finally got the knife. I opted for the Ladybug 3 Salt with serrated H1 blade. Boy is this knife unbelievable! Practically weightless, still sturdy feeling. Easy to open one-handed with the spyderhole (way better than Bug series). Came razor sharp as the Spydercos do. And I love the color.

Also ordered some neon yellow and neon green paracord to tie a summer-ish lanyard for the knife ;)

I got my wife a Microtech UTX-70 for her keychain. I have a Microtech Mini UDT that would work on a keychain. I've had a Gerber LST for 30 years, but never put it on a keychain. Guess you could. But the two MTs would work well.

Since you already got ypur knife, consider these answers for the next guy (or gal) searching for options;

Case Caliber or mini Blackhorn would be a great bet for a lot less... Or even less then that, I've never owned one, but the opinel #4 comes with with a keychain attached and they get high praise around here.

Buck Bantam nano is another option, or a kabar mini Dozier...

But if you're dead set on a spyderco, I'd personally get a manbug over a lady bug... Just principle... I'm a jersey boy, and me and my friends can get brutal when talking trash amongst each other, so if I had a "baby" knife on my key chain, and one of them says, "aw that's cute, what us it?"
Last answer I want to give them is a "lady" bug... Too much ammo, at least "man" bug retains some dignity in the face of friendly banter from the boys. Lol
