Key West...and my donation to the tsa

Lost my cheap edc to tsa on my return trip from a guys weekend in Key West. So dumb. Forgot to throw it in my suitcase and tried to walk right through security with it. I'm sure 3 days of alcohol and lack of sleep were the culprits.
Only a rat2 and easily replaced. The agent looked at me like the moron I am. I apologized profusely and let him know it was an honest mistake and encouraged him to enjoy his new knife. A few non related knife pics for fun.



 
At least it wan't a gun. If I recall from yesterday's story, the TSA confiscated something like 2600 guns last year and "more than 80% were loaded." God forbid. :D Why would you carry an unloaded gun anyway. My usual place I get caught is the court house and I forget to take my knife or knives out of my pocket. Requires a trip back to the car. Looks like you had a good Key West trip.
 
Looks like a blast, I haven't been to Key West for many years now. Last knife I had forgotten to take out of my pocket was in Seattle, they were nice enough to direct me to a place where I could mail it back to my self, I thought that was fair. Apparently that's a policy that hasn't been adopted universally.
