Keychain EDCs

Black Vic Classic, Microlight Photon II, and a peanut capsule flint type lighter (from EDCDepot.com). I use the sak almost daily. I used to have a Kershaw Chive and before that a Buck 759F. Smaller is better on the keychain. Classic beats em all IMHO. -DT

I have a Swisstech Utili-key, cheap Garrity LED light, and a collapsible pen. I prefer not to keep my regular edc knives on my key chain.

vic rambler on my keychain along with a combo magnesium/ferro rod, a whistle and a photon II light

Seems as though a lot of people sport the utili-key? Do you guys find that useful? How does the blade cut?

Im a micarta guy too (great sissors), but cant give upthe plyers on my swiss tech ( also heaver- duty screwdrivers). Dont know the model but it has the built in light. My utilikey broke before it got much use. Not a fan of the blade anyway.Too crowded on the ring??

Vic Classic Rambler for me, it even has a cap lifter !!!!

Vic Classic(Red) & Uncle Bill's Sliver Grippers.

The Vic gets used for cutting nails mostly. Nail clippers are too small for me and I get a better controlled cut with the scissors.

On my keys I have 4 keys and a dogtag. I have a medium sized split ring off of that holding a Swiss Army Highlander. Off that ring I have two medium sized rings. One ring has the inkless pen that I got at some other forum. The other ring has an Inova Microlight. I don't like how sensitive the button is and it gets turned on constantly. Perhaps it is just a teenage boy version of the Microlight. I also have a lobster claw clip on the big ring with a Leatherman Micra on itvia a small split ring. Off THAT small split ring I have a tiny capsule that held a spare bulb. In the capsule is 3 Ativans for my severe panic attacks and a magnet compass I got at EDC Depot. This is my newest setup as of this afternoon so I need to give it a try but so far it is awesome.

On my keychain I have:
Swisstech utilikey
Home-made prytool
Home-made lockpick/pokey thing (actually quite useful)
I plan to get a small firesteel and light

One a side note, Can you throw sparks with a key as a scraper?

I use the Phillips screwdriver more than anything else on my Utili-Key. The blade gets used for blister packages and such, and it takes an okay edge. It's half-serrated and chisel ground. I find myself touching it up about every three to four uses.

Yes, you can. I've found that the spine of the key works a lot better than the grooves since it's sharper. Personally, I prefer to use the serrated portion of my Utili-Key or the corner of the nail file on my Victorinox Classic / Manager.

The only thing I carry on my keychain other than keys and a small light is a P-38 or P-51. I probably use it as a multi-tool more than any other "real" multi-tool I own.

Don't know if I carry my knife on my keys or keys on my knife but there is a Vic Farmer attached to my keys with a quick release so that I can separate them when I need to.
At work I have a classic alox on my key ring and a Bantam alox in my shirt pocket.

On my keyring, I carry a Victorinox Mini-Champ and Swisstech Utilikey. I also carry a Victorinox Spirit in my man-purse, everywhere I go.

The blade is not great, but adequate for simple things. The drivers and bottle opener see more use. It's so easy to carry though.

I've been all over the place with my keychain. Had a SAK Rambler on there - took it off... County Comm widgy bar - took it off. Atwood whistle - took it off. Fenix E1, took it off...

Right now, besides keys, I have lanyard fob, a Fox 40 GITD whistle and a Peak LED Matterhorn, an awesome AAA light.

I now keep my SAK Rambler and the Widgy bar (two very useful items) on another lanyard in my pack.

The Fox 40 might not make it though... its on probation. :D
