Keychain flashlight advice?

These are the one's I've ordered recently because of their performance and positive feedback:

Arc AAA Premium
Photon International CR2 Ion (very smals and expensive - $150)
Orb Raw (Small and again expensive)

I bought all the above because of their great reviews and performance. Another reason is that the Arc takes AAA cells and the other two takes the CR2 cells that I have a good size quantity of (got a good deal on eBay). I am still waiting to receive the Orb Raw because it is coming from Europe and the maker says that the demand for this torch is high this time of year.

I still enjoy my SureFire flashlights just the same but I wanted some EDC torches that was very compact and high performing.

while some nice lights have been brought up, and I know you were looking for AA/AAA, you might want a back-up plan.

my back-up plan? send County Comm a $20 bill. County Comm $1 lights. if you know that you will be losing your keys, I would get a bunch of these things. get an Arc AAA or something like that and take care not to lose it. I had withdrawls after losing mine (translation: dropped it off of a cliff). I'd just reach for it without noticing. and it was never there. never there! :(

pelican l1 led model 1930? grandpa has a slightly larger pelican approx 6" overall and that thing is a serious spotlight, is there somthing i dont know about pelican lights? no one has mentioned them

I think the Arc-AAA Premium has been knocked off it's perch.

I believe the Fenix E0 is a better light, and just bought one. For those of us concerned about cost, battery life matters, and since it is regulated, I know when to replace the battery, or I can just commit to replacing the AAA battery every 5 years, whether it needs it or not.

Check that link out for some serious discussion of the E0. You can get the Fenix E0 shipped for a $20.00 total.
