hey guys im looking for a small knife for my keychain. my usual edc is an endura 4 but sometimes i dont have space in my pockets and only carry my keys. about 2 inches seems good and im willing to spend about $30. the only thing ive seen is the spyderco ladybug. are there any other good keychain sized kinves?

Byrd Starling
Byrd Finch
Benchmade Benchmite
Ladybug (what you said)
Boker Keycom
Small Saks
Leatherman Squirt/Micra
Maybe a CS Urban Pal or something

Lot to choose from!

Also think it is important to consider that the Benchmite also locks closed as well as open; ensures that the blade won't mistakenly open up when getting jostled about with your keys in the pocket.

Thanks for the recommendations i really like the leatherman squirt in blue. Are there any knives that come in different colors specifically blue?

As far as a blue offering besides the Squirt, the only thing I can think of is perhaps some of the small keychain SAKs, can't think of any others. And even with the SAKs, not sure what models would offer the color. i think I've seen the Classic, Manager and Signature offered in various colors.

Benchmite or Ladybug for me. I had a CS mini pal, but it snagged on something one day and I never found it. It was the only knife I have EVER lost. :o

Vixtorinox - the 58mm SAKs are excellent keychain knives. They range from the small Signature to the chunky MiniChamp.
Spyderco - The Ladybug would be my choice from Sypderco, although the Spin and Byrd Finch are good choices, too.
Kershaw - Their little Two Can knife/scissors is a unique keychain knife, or their aptly named Key Chain knife.
Leatherman - They have several keychain sized multitools, including the Micra and their Squirt line.
Buck - they make an interesting little keychain knife called the Metro in several different colors.
Benchamde - makes a nice little knife called the Benchmite in both manual and auto.

Hope that helps!

I would go with a Victorinox Manager. I don't own one but I just gave one to my girlfriend as a going away present. It has a nice assortment of tools and the smoothness of the pen really impressed me. I'll probably grab one myself one of these days.

I've had several keychain knives/tools. By far the best one (for me) is the Vic manager. It's got the best combination of tools IMO, and they all get used.

I'd probably go with a SAK Classic for convenience. For cutting ability, it'd probably be an Opinel #2.

Ladybug. Perfect keychain knife.

Ladybug get's my vote. Comes in a couple colors, and VG-10 or H1 blade depending on which you prefer. VG-10 is a lot better then what you normally find on a keychain size folder.

I just got a Spyderco Bug in the mail yesterday. It is very small and light. I'll have to use it for awhile and find out if it will become part of my keys. I currently have a Vic Classic with home made Kydex handles.

My vote goes for the Ladybug, too. I really like my bright orange one, although the green one above looks pretty good.
