Keychain knife?

Above are all good choices. To the list:
I'll add the smallest Gerber LST. I forget the exact name or number but its part of the LST series but the tinest one. It's very small, flat and is a lockback. I also have the SOG Microdot and it fits the bill also.
The wife has been toting a Ladybug on her keychain for years. For women with nails its a good choice because the hole opening does not interfere.
I've carried at least ten different tiny keychain knives. My favorite is the SAK midnite manager. Not much bigger then the classic and almost the perfect choice of useful tools. I bought one mint on these forums cheap to try it out a few years ago and still carry it. Its more useful to me than the classic. In fact before going online I was just outside messing around with an older car and used the midnite manager for three different things.

Recently my Ladybug has been the only knife I've had on me for a long time. I'd say the Ladybug would be the best choice, as when you downsize the knife the steel tends to get cheaper but Spyderco stuck with VG-10. And no worries about it opening up in your pocket, the tension on the lockback retains the blade very well, for example I don't see a need for it to lock closed like the Benchmite. The Keycom doesn't seem secure enough with the framelock, though I haven't tried it so I dont know how well it retains.

But if you want something more from your keychain, you might wanna consider the Leatherman Micra or Squirt depending on your needs.

Some that I've carried on my keychains:

AG Russell ti pen knife - the part the split ring fits through seems like it wouldn't hold up too long to daily wear, otherwise nice compact little knife
Boker Keycom - great inexpensive little knife, I removed the clip for keychain use, the most heavy duty small knife I've carried on my keychain
Spyderco Bug - started to carry this recently, almost too small, the miniclip and split ring I use are about as big as the knife itself, practically disappears with the keys
Leatherman Squirt - Carried this for years, but stopped when I was slimming down my keyring, not a great blade, but a useful little tool otherwise

The Gerber Artifact is a decent keychain tool. It has a replaceable blade system (Exacto) and screwdriver bits and prybar/bottle opener.

Also think it is important to consider that the Benchmite also locks closed as well as open; ensures that the blade won't mistakenly open up when getting jostled about with your keys in the pocket.

Also the blade of the Benchmite is much stouter and solid than the other knives mentioned.

The Ladybug might be an easier carry on a key chain

There is also a CA258 Case Pen w/Scissors in Amber Bone

My wife and I started to carry Ladybugs about a year ago and love them. My wife doesn't care much about knives, but found Ladybug very useful. Also VG10 hold great. It is available in SS and FRN :black, purple, orange, white, yellow ( blade in H1), also PE and SE.
