The classic sd does seem like the best value but I personally think it's worth paying the extra $10 for the extra multi-tool that the Rambler has.(bottle opener/philips screwdriver/wire stripper)Since I live twenty bucks from anywhere, I always carry my keys if I leave the house. The little SD Classic..is...well...a classic. The little Olight isn't too shabby either.

I probably would have gotten the Rambler if one was available, at the store, when I bought the Classic. I may just pick one up in the future. The classic sd does seem like the best value but I personally think it's worth paying the extra $10 for the extra multi-tool that the Rambler has.(bottle opener/philips screwdriver/wire stripper)
And I'll probably end up getting a classic sd just because I'll be curious to know if the slightly lighter weight and thickness will make a difference on the keychain lol. I noticed that the alox classic is listed at half the thickness as the standard scaled classic sd but then you lose the toothpick and tweezers and it costs about $10 more.I probably would have gotten the Rambler if one was available, at the store, when I bought the Classic. Thanks for the info. It would be well worth buying a classic or classic sd just for the scales then plus you'd have spare parts too."When the Lord made me, he made a raaaamblin' man" Hank Sr.
One thing to consider about the Rambler, is that if you come across an interesting classic you can always swap the scales over.
